Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to support K-12
students across multiple school sites in Plano, TX. These contract
positions are available immediately and vary in duration through
the current school year (CSY). Candidates will provide essential
speech and language services to diverse student populations,
helping enhance communication skills and academic success.
Available Positions and Caseloads: - Old Settlers Elementary (K-5th
grade): 40 students (covering maternity leave through 3/31) -
Southridge Elementary (K-5th grade): 8 students (covering maternity
leave through 3/31) - Durham Middle School: 65 students (contract
through 5/22) - Hebron High School and Hebron 9th Grade Center: 85
students (contract through 5/22) Qualifications and Experience: -
Active State License as a Speech-Language Pathologist - Preference
for candidates holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence
(SLP-CCC) - Candidates in Clinical Fellowship (CF) status must have
supervision arranged prior to starting, as the district cannot
provide supervision - Experience in school-based settings,
preferably K-12 - Ability to work onsite at the assigned school
location Role and Responsibilities: - Provide direct speech and
language therapy services to assigned students according to
individualized education plans (IEPs) - Conduct assessments and
progress monitoring - Collaborate with educators, parents, and
multidisciplinary teams to support student communication goals -
Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with district
policies - Support students across diverse grade levels as assigned
This full-time role requires onsite presence and offers the
