Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the current school year with a K-12 public school district in Lewisville, TX. This contract position involves working onsite to provide essential speech-language services across elementary, middle, and high school levels. Locations and Caseloads: - Old Settlers Elementary and Southridge Elementary: Supporting approximately 48 students (K-5). Coverage needed for a maternity leave through March 31. - Durham Middle School: Caseload of 65 students, service needed through May 22. - Hebron High School/Hebron 9: Caseload of 85 students, service also needed through May 22. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication disorders. - Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student success. - Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with district and state guidelines. - Provide therapy services tailored to student needs, adapting approaches as necessary for effective outcomes. Qualifications: - Active state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist. - Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; candidates who are Clinical Fellows (CF) must have supervision arranged prior to starting. - Experience in school-based settings is highly desirable. - Ability to commit to full-time hours (40 hours per week) onsite. This role requires excellent communication skills, flexibility, and dedication to supporting diverse student populations.
