Job Description:
Methodist Health System is seeking a dedicated and compassionate
Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit team on a
part-time basis. With a commitment to providing high-quality and
compassionate healthcare, the successful candidate will play a
vital role in delivering critical care to patients in our ICU. This
position requires exceptional clinical skills, the ability to work
collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, and a strong
commitment to patient-centered care. Provide direct and
individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of
scientific nursing principles. Monitor patient health conditions,
assess their needs, and document their medical histories. Operate
medical machinery, administer treatments and medications, and
coordinate with the healthcare team to optimize patient care.
Advocate for the health and wellbeing of patients, ensuring that
they receive the best care and support during their recovery.
Educate patients and their families on prevention and healthy
habits, enhancing patient outcomes and the effectiveness of
interventions. Strong clinical skills with a focus on critical care
and intensive patient support. Excellent communication and
interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and
healthcare teams. Proficiency in using healthcare technology and
medical equipment. Critical thinking and problem-solving
capabilities. Ability to handle high stress situations and make
precise decisions under pressure. Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Active Registered
Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas. Advanced Cardiovascular
Life Support (ACLS) certification. Certified Critical Care Nurse
(CCRN) credential is desirable.
