This role is responsible for producing & developing a commercial admitted book of business. Key responsibilities include: Liaise with carrier personnel and retail agents daily to assist with placement, retention, and resolution of risks by quoting and binding accounts Develop agency marketing plans to drive new business production and renewal retention with a customer-oriented focus Sell and distribute Amwins Admitted products including in person agency visits to develop that business Build relationships with agencies and analyze accounts to prioritize opportunities Develop highly collaborative internal relationships and follow-up on cross selling opportunities when appropriate We are looking for people with: Minimum 2 years of commercial account management experience in a retail insurance agency or wholesaler environment preferred Experience with commercial admitted carrier products and rating platforms P&C license preferred Insurance designations appreciated Snapshot of what Amwins provides to our team members: Broad benefits package available Most benefits available first day of employment Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, etc Parental Leave, Adoption Assistance, Travel Reimbursement for healthcare, Retail Discount Program, Scholarships for dependents of Amwins employees, etc Generous Paid Time Off and Company Holiday Schedule Collaborative, continuing education focused work environment
