About the Role:

As a CBRE Benefits Analyst, you will provide support to company benefit programs to ensure a smooth delivery of group health, and welfare plans.

This job is part of the Total Rewards function. They are responsible for the planning, designing, evaluation, and administration of employee compensation and benefits programs.

What You'll Do:

  • Assist in the delivery of health and welfare benefit plans in accordance with federal and state laws.
  • Coordinate open enrollment preparation and administration of all new or revised benefit programs and policies.
  • Assist People Business Partners and employees in resolving benefits-related escalations. Act as a
  • liaison between employees and benefit vendors, ensuring timely and accurate issue resolution.
  • Monitor benefit requirements, government regulations, and enrollment data.
  • Assist with reviewing benefit communications to employees. This includes technical plan documents and summary plan descriptions.
  • Prepare regular benefit reports and premium reconciliation and wire requests.
  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.
  • Work within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
  • Exchange straightforward information, ask questions, and check for understanding.

    • Bachelor's degree.
    • 3 years of related experience and/or training preferred.
    • Working knowledge of applicable laws and regulations, including HIPAA, ERISA, COBRA, and ACA is a plus. Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office product i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
    • Ability to build collaborative relationships with teammates, third party vendors, People Business Partners and all levels of employees. Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse culture, including peers, management staff at corporate and in the field.
    • Intermediate math skills. Ability to calculate figures such as percentages, fractions and other financial related calculations.
    • Ability to effectively plan and prioritize. Ability to analyze, research and resolve complex problems in order to develop a course of action.
    • Decisions made with understanding of procedures and company policies to achieve set results and deadlines. Responsible for setting own project deadlines.
