Job Description:

A Data Analyst collects data about an organization's operations to improve its systems and processes. Primary duties include Perform analysis and turn data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions, conducting full lifecycle analysis to include requirements, activities, and design. Data analysts will develop analysis and reporting capabilities. Monitor performance and quality control plans to identify improvements, researching business data, making recommendations with reports generated using data to the company's management and analyzing the potential impact of their recommendations.Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reportsDevelop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and qualityWork with Business team to gather requirementsCarry out Data profiling to understand the data and find out linkage between each data elements. Assist Architecture team to create data modelCreate Source to Target Mapping document, Test case documentsWork with QA/Development team to explain the requirements and close all the outstanding questions on issues/bug on requirements/Data Model/MappingAcquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systemsIdentify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data setsWork with management to prioritize business and information needsCarrying out training sessions and workshops to guide relevant teamsCarrying out periodic quality checksWorking experience with multiple vendorsBachelor's degree in computer science or MIS related area required or equivalent experience (industry experience substitutable)2-5 + years of experience of Data/Business Analyst/QA space (Individual Contributor).1+ years of experience in Banking and financial domainExperience in loans/credit risk will be a value addProven analytic skills, including mining, evaluation, analysis, and visualizationTechnical writing experience in relevant areas, including queries, reports, and presentationsStrong advanced SQL or Excel skills with the ability to learn other analytic toolsPrior experience with database and model design and segmentation techniquesData warehouse experience is a MUST.Practical experience in statistical analysis using packages including Excel, SPSS, and SASProven success in a collaborative, team-oriented environmentExcellent understand of the SDLC process and familiar with the various testing methodologies (e.g.: SCRUM, Kanban, TDD, BDD and Squad Models).Excellent verbal and written communication skillsMust adhere to corporate/team etiquetteHighly proficient in Publisher, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Visio, Confluence and Azure DevOpsWorking knowledge of best practices in value-driven development (requirements management, prototyping, hypothesis-driven development, usability testing)Good communicator with problem solving mindset and focus on process improvementWorking knowledge of work management and collaboration tools (Azure DevOps and Confluence preferred)Strong time management skills and a proven track record of meeting various deadlinesStrong knowledge of any cloud database such as Snowflake/Redshift, AWS/Azure.Takes bottom line responsibilities starting from requirements till delivery.Strong executive presentation skills with expertise in PowerPoint and presentation best practices.Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skillsGood interpersonal skills, ability to interact with Senior ManagementHighly self-motivated with a strong sense of initiativeInterpersonal and customer service skills are required when meeting with and interviewing potential clientsExcellent multitasking skills, task management strategies, organizational and analytical abilities.Ability to work well in a team environment, meet deadlines, demonstrate good time management, and multi-task in a fast-paced project environmentExcellent Communication & Presentation Skills.Interpersonal Communication/EQProduct Management & Business StrategyStrategic Thinking & ForesightBanking and/or financial services experience desired, but not requiredDetailed-oriented with a proven history as a self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervisionOutstanding organizational and effective time management skills Ability to obtain, analyze and synthesize information from multiple sourcesExcellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skillsPDN-99314f76-0b80-4f43-92a8-7f9b5199f841
