Title: Compensation Business Partner/Analyst
Location: Richardson, TX (Onsite from day 1 with hybrid schedule.
Look for local folks only)
Duration: 8 months ( Role may convert to permanent if the candidate
is amenable)
Description:
- Looking for experience in non-sales, non-executive
compensation.
- Familiar with managing surveys (Market, Salary, compensation
).
- Experience analyzing and utilizing the results of the surveys
to determine market rate/market median/50th percentile.
- Helpful if the candidates have experience with Compensation
Tools. (Client uses Pay Factors for compensation analysis, and has
SAP and Oracle for HRIS source data).
- Looking for experience in broad base compensation (non-sales,
non-executive compensation). Familiar with variable payment plans,
incentive based plans and bonus calculations.
- Workers will be expected to work 1-2 days per week in the
Richardson TX (days TBD and flexible based on candidate
preference)
- Have experience reviewing job descriptions, and job matching
roles to categories. Should understand terms like Benchmark,
Comp-ratio, 50th Percentile, Min/Max of the salary range, Career
Frameworks/ Job Leveling.
- Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree
Candidates that have 4 years of experience in Compensation Analysis
is ideal
- Strong Excel skills preferred and analytically minded
- Proficient in Power Point
- daptability to the environment and various data sources is
important
Job Purpose:
Key role in providing both strategic and tactical support for total
rewards management and administration. This includes providing
insight on compensation trends and providing expertise relative to
the development of business specific programs that have significant
implications. Lead the design, implementation, communication and
administration of competitive compensation programs, that align
with the business strategy, goals and objectives of FNC. The role
reports to the Head of Reward, Americas and requires an individual
who is analytical, keenly focused on maintaining efficient
processes, and an experienced project manager who can work across
functions to execute key compensation change initiatives.
Key Accountabilities
- Manage the year-end pay review increase and incentive payment
cycle.
- Partner with HR, communications and systems colleagues to
deliver processes to the HR community and the business
- Evaluate and recommend changes to increase the effectiveness
and competitive positioning of compensation practices, including
base salary and annual bonus/incentive programs
- Organize and oversee market total rewards analysis including
participation in salary surveys, job evaluation, and analysis
presentation
- Help develop and reinforce total rewards philosophy across
organization
- Coordinate and contribute to incentive re-design processes
- Deliver total rewards and compensation analysis providing
insight and analysis on trends to drive more informed HR/business
decisions; explain pay differences found and partner with other
team members on approach to address concerns
- Prepare analyses and presentations for leadership
- Design and prepare ad hoc total rewards, compensation and
budget related reports for management
- Maintain global compensation job structures, providing HR
Business Partners and line management with tools to support
compensation decisions
- Oversee documentation of job descriptions and creation of
roles/titles
- Provide expert knowledge to assist in the selection of third
parties to provide best-of-breed HR solutions and services
- ssist in developing new or modified HR work methods,
approaches, or procedures for delivering effective HR solutions to
clients Desired Experience & Knowledge
- BA/BS degree in Business Administration, HR or related field
required; MA/MS/MBA degree in Business Administration, HR or
related field preferred
- 4+ years of progressive Total Rewards, Compensation and/or
HR/Finance experience and/or HR Consulting experience
- Experience in incentive compensation program design and/or
Reward integration resulting from M&A
- Experience in managing Sales and Non-Sales Incentive
programs
- bility to design, implement and execute effective Reward
processes
- Technology experience preferred
- Demonstrated experience consulting with senior leaders and HR
partners required. Strong consultative skills and the ability to
build solid relationships with the management team, HR team,
cross-functional internal partners and external
providers/vendors
- Led as well as participated in projects requiring analytical
review and critical thinking. Excellent project management
skills
- Exceptional Analytical skills
- Has experience conducting research and participating in salary
surveys on HR and vendor survey systems
- Experience in job evaluation and role frameworks
- bility to work independently and be proactive in a high
performance environment, possess a strong sense of ownership and
accountability
- Experience in designing Recognition programs preferred
- Strong Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel skills
(Advanced Level) Other Skills & Qualifications:
Detail-oriented. Networking, Persuasion, Research, Writing,
Presentation Skills, Energy Level, Professionalism, Client Service
skills required. Effective communication skills, orally and in
written form to a variety of audiences. Excellent multi-tasking
abilities. Oracle Fusion knowledge a plus
