Job Summary
To assist in the maintenance and operation of the animal
experimentation/research facilities. Responsible for the
performance of routine non-technical tasks.
Minimum Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent; must have effective
communication and customer service skills.

Additional Information
The training schedule for the Animal Technician is M-F, 8am-5pm.
Once adequate
training is accomplished (a few weeks depending on experience) new
technicians
are required to work the weekends and take 2 days off during the
week.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions
Lifting and reaching above the head, and being able to lift a
maximum of 40lbs.
