Job DescriptionDescription:Intake notes:Material Handler II - Receiving PositionPrimary Duties and Responsibilities• Receiving and signing for all inbound shipments• Identify and record any errors in receipts including missing and/or damaged goods• Stocking incoming materials and ensuring the accuracy of inventory transactions.• Perform basic quality inspection on select items received• Maintaining a clean and organized work area• Adhering to the Company•s safety policies and procedures, as well as those set out by OSHA• Other duties as assignedQualificationsExperience:• 2+ years• experience in a similar role• Forklift certification and experience operating a Reach Truck forklift is preferred• Experience with UPS and/or Fed-Ex shipping system is desirable• Experience with international shipments is an assetKnowledge, Skills & Abilities:• Acute attention to detail is required• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.• Strong verbal and written communication skills• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook is required.• ERP experience (preferably SAP experience) is definitely a plus.• Self-motivated team player capable of multi-tasking in a fast-paced work environment• Ability to read, write, and speak English• Other duties as assignedWorking Conditions• Standing and walking for long period of time (approximately 8 hours per shift)• Maintaining a clean and organized work area• Adhering to the Company safety policies and procedures, as well as those set by OSHA• Maneuvering heavy objects, including lifting (floor to waist, waist to shoulders, and overhead), carrying up to 50lbs and pushing and pulling of a pallet jack• Available to work overtime and weekend shifts when necessary**Steel Toed boots required **No Shorts - No HatsForklift experience operating a stand up reach forklift and other material handling equipment preferred. Will train and certify them - No forklift drivers only - will use FL about 5% of the day. If they have Forklift as their Job title and duties on the resume I will not shortlist Intake notes: HM will interview entry level experience as long as they meet the Physical and lifting and OT requirements looking with candidate that are eager to work, can follow instruction and can working with small screws, components and wires daily.Hours: 2nd ShiftSchedule: M-F 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm - OT required - will work until the work is finished** First 5 days will arrive at 1:00 pm for orientation and training**Will have go thru the COVID onsite screening to enter the building and must wear a maskPay rate: $18.50 an hour AppleOne is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
