Functional Title: Assistant to the Vice President of Academic
Affairs and ProvostDepartment: Academic Affairs and Provost

Until FilledDesired Start Date: 09/03/2024Job Summary:Manage the
provost's calendar, correspondence, and file maintenance as
requested. Coordinate the provost's travel, reimbursements, and
OneCard reconciliations. Work collaboratively with students,
faculty, staff, university leaders, UT System offices, and other UT
and higher education institutions in a highly professional,
helpful, and discrete manner.Serve as UT System liaison for the
provost. Coordinate searches for Deans and Academic Affairs
leaders. Maintain a repository for Affiliation Agreements.
Coordinate annual invitations for the Kusch Lecture. Additional
duties as requested.Minimum Education and Experience:Bachelor's
degree and nine years of office administration or related
experience, including five years as an Administrative Assistant II
or a high-paced and complex administrative support position.
Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Suite Applications. An
equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be
considered.Preferred Education and Experience:Previous experience
in higher education.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Provides
professional administrative support to the Vice President for
Academic Affairs and Provost. The position will interact with
senior leaders, faculty, staff, students, and external constituents
to further the provost's and the University's goals.Physical
