Job Description:

TCB is looking for a Program Associate, Business Control Office to join TCB's 1LOD Operations Department. The Program Associate, Business Control Office will be ensuring policies and procedures within the 1LOD are aligned with the Policy Governance Framework, and coordination with the LOBs and other subject matter experts is required. The Associate Control Office will also be responsible for execution of 1LOD activities relating to complaints, business mandates, regulatory requirements, industry standards, and other governance related items as needed. Business Control Office (BCO)The BCO within TCBs 1LOD is responsible for delivering a more consistent approach to business operations across TCB, strengthening the company's risk and control infrastructure, and delivering effective and efficient enterprise services to employees and customers.The BCO is a centralized team within the 1LOD. Operations functions include contact center operations, client servicing support, money movements within our businesses, lending operations, and other back-office support functions.The BCO also works cross-functionally with several teams within TCB dedicated to strengthening TCBs risk and control infrastructure including but not limited to Audit, Enterprise Risk Management, Operational Risk, Legal, and Compliance. Ensure timely and accurate response to complaints.Conduct root cause analysis of complaints to mitigate future risk and enhance customer experience.Evaluate existing complaint procedures and work with line of business partners to modify as needed.Identify, measure, and report on complaint risks to managementMaintain the governance and review process around procedures across 1LOD within TCBs governance, risk, and compliance tool.Maintain the BCO procedures.Provide guidance to LOBs and other stakeholders on governance practices. Remain knowledgeable about the operational risks in the functional areas across the bank, including areas of cross organizational risk. Provide operational risk management consultation, training and communication to various business units as needed.Other duties as assigned.BA or BS degree plus 1-2 years in operational risk management or related role.Strong understanding of banking operational risk techniques.Strong organization and facilitation skills.Exceptional communication and writing skills.Extreme attention to detail and ability to understand risks and integration/interdependency of risks.Demonstrated experience in meeting/workshop facilitation or professional training techniques.Must be comfortable in providing leadership and guidance on operational risk management to senior level managers.Solid understanding of financial institution processes, products, and risks.PDN-993351de-fc2b-4025-a5d5-c2e431967d24
