L&S is a family-oriented company, has been in business for over 30 years and is one of the fastest growing residential construction companies in the U.S.As an accounts payable coordinator you will:Reconcile processed work by verifying material received and material invoicedCharge expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice/expense reports; recording entriesPay vendors by monitoring discount opportunities; scheduling and preparing checks; resolving purchase order, invoice, or payment discrepancies and documentation; insuring credit is received for outstanding memosPay employees by receiving and verifying expense reports and requests for advances; preparing checksMaintain accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactionsVerify vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactionsMaintain historical records by microfilming and filing documentsReport sales taxes by calculating requirements on paid invoicesProtect organization's value by keeping information confidentialRequirements for this position include:Minimum of 2 years accounts payable responsibilities, preferably in the construction industryStrong ability to organize, prioritize, communicate well and be committed to providing quality workMust be proficient in basic computer skills that include but are not limited to data entry, MS Outlook, Excel, Word, and Great PlainsSolid problem solving skills and a willingness to take on new projects with a can do attitudePerform the physical demands of the position - working indoors with long periods of time sitting; listening and speaking on the telephone; viewing monitor and workstationComprehensive benefit package includes:Competitive payMultiple medical, dental and vision insurance plansFlexible Spending Account with debit card401(k) with 50% company matching up to 6% of employee contributionsBonus opportunitiesVacation, PTO and holiday pay
