ABOUT THE TEAM:
Revenue Management team provide services to various products such
as Yieldstar LRO, Amenity Optimization and AIRM. Revenue Management
team is responsible for delivering best in the class Revenue
Management solution for the Multifamily industry
WHAT YOU--LL DO:
As a QA, you will:Prepare and execute test plans and tracking
defects as they ariseDevelop and establish quality assurance
standards and measures for the information technology services
within the organizationAct as the single point of contact (lead)
between Development and Testers for iterations, Testing and
deployment activities.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work with counterparts on established quality assurance measures
and testing standards for new applications, products, and/or
enhancements to existing applications throughout their
development/product lifecycles.Analyze documentation and technical
specifications of any new application under deployment to determine
its intended functionality.Work with Developers at all stages to
promote quality code. Work closely with the Testing team,
Developers and Product for requirements, Testing and deployment
activities.Track and report upon testing activities, including
testing results, test case coverage, required resources, defects
discovered and their status, performance baselines, etc. Assist in
performing any applicable maintenance to tools used in Testing and
resolve issues if any.Ensure content and structure of all Testing
documents / artifacts is documented and maintained.Collaborate with
software/systems personnel in application testing, such as system,
unit, regression, load, and acceptance testing methods.Operate
under minimal supervision.Anticipate, identify, log and track
issues as they arise and communicate test progress, test results,
and other relevant information to QA and Project management.
Cultivate and disseminate knowledge of quality assurance best
practiceAssist in the development of change control processes,
practices, and guidelines for new and existing technologies.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
A College degree in Computer Science or an Engineering discipline
preferred. Equivalent experience may be acceptable.7+ years direct
experience as a QA Analyst for major application integration and/or
major application product release.Good knowledge on SDLC and
STLC.Experience with core software applications, including web and
client/server applications.Minimum 5 years of working experience
with web services testing for REST and SOAP.Minimum 5 years of
working experience with build management tool like JIRA, Team
Foundation Server, Azure, etc.Experience in database testing
SQLServer/PostGresExperience in working with Unix systems using
putty tool. Proven data analysis, data verification, and
problem-solving abilities and be able to work in a fast-paced
environment Good knowledge on Agile Methodologies.Must exhibit a
highly organized approach to work.Must have knowledge in all QA
methodologies and lifecycles.Must be confident with high energy and
a great passion for QA.Excellent written and oral communication
skills.Excellent listening, presentation, and interpersonal
skills.
PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
1+ years of test automation using (Selenium Webdriver, Java)Basic
knowledge on any programming language (C#, Java).Experience on API
automation Testing using REST or any other tools. Experience with
core software applications, including web and client/server
applications.Experience in Data validation and knowledge on SQL.
Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment.Working on
front-end and back-end applications/QA environment. #LI-CP1
