Role Summary

Mavenir is seeking a highly keen and resourceful HR Intern for our global headquarters in Richardson, Texas. The HR Intern will support Mavenir's HR operations in both the U.S. and Canada.

This internship will give you the opportunity to enhance your knowledge and understanding of HR practices and initiatives through hands-on involvement in areas of Compliance, Employment Law, Recruiting, Performance Management and Diversity & Inclusion.

This is a full-time, onsite summer internship that will last about 12 weeks. Exact start and ending dates are flexible.

Key Responsibilities

  • Audit and development of procedures and policies that ensure Mavenir carries out fair practices according to law and regulations.

  • Data audit, organization and research of personnel records and reporting, including I-9, EEO data, AAP, etc.

  • Support HR Business Partners identify and diagnose issues proactively and develop, recommend and implement root cause solutions that enhance employee engagement/experience and business results in a timely manner

  • Participate in projects and special initiatives within and outside the HR function as assigned

Job Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Human Resources or other related field

  • Some experience/familiarity with Compliance, Employment Law, Performance Management, Staffing, Compensation, Diversity, and Organizational/Management Development

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills

  • Strong problem-solving skills, able to link situations to the bigger picture

  • Excellent attention to detail and able to identify root cause and underlying issues

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills

  • Efficiency in MS Office software products like Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint

  • Proficiency in HRIS systems such as Workday is ideal, but not required
