Job Description Job Description Job Summary: Ensures timely delivery of goods to predetermined customers on specific routes, reviewing orders prior to delivery, loading and unloading of trucks and providing exceptional customer service. Responsibilities: Maintain vehicle in a neat and tidy condition daily. Carry out regular vehicle/equipment checks as directed daily. Thorough knowledge of traffic laws and defensive driving. Pack and load products onto trucks. Deliver orders to customers on assigned routes. Unload goods as per client specifications. Review deliveries with customers to ensure products meet their needs. Obtain delivery confirmations. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Education and Experience: Communicate effectively in verbal and written form. Understand and abide by safety guidelines. Thorough Knowledge of traffic laws and defense driving. Ability to perform heavy manual tasks under varying weather conditions. Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Class A Commercial Driver's License. High School diploma or general education degree (GED). 1 to 2 years of driving experience. Physical Demands & Working Conditions: Employees are required to perform the following physical demands. Sit, stand, walk, kneel, and crouch for extended periods of time. Employees will be required to pick up, gather, and or distribute materials of various weights up to 50Ibs.
