Do Lead the software development lifecycle for assigned projects,
ensuring the delivery of high-quality, on-time, and within-budget
solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including
systems engineering, hardware engineering, and program management,
to define and execute software development plans. Manage the
Integrated Product Team (IPT), delegating tasks, driving
accountability, and resolving technical and project-related issues.
Oversee requirements analysis, design, development, integration,
and testing of software systems and applications. Direct risk
management activities, identifying and mitigating potential risks
to ensure project success. Serve as the primary point of contact
for software-related matters, both internally and externally with
customers or stakeholders. Ensure compliance with RTX processes,
standards, and certification requirements (e.g., DO-178, CMMI,
etc.). Obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued SECRET security
clearance. What You Will Learn Gain in-depth knowledge of

relevant to aerospace and defense. Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or
Mathematics (STEM) and five (5) years of prior relevant experience.
Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing software
projects. Experience with C++, Java, or Python, and software
development tools. Experience with Agile development methodologies
and tools. The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government
issued SECRET security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is
required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security
clearance. Qualifications We Prefer A degree in Software
Engineering, Computer Science, or an equivalent technical field. An
advanced degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or an
equivalent technical field. Strong understanding of systems
engineering processes and integration of software with hardware
systems. Proficiency in software engineering principles. Experience
managing complex software projects. Strong problem-solving,
communication, and organizational skills. At least 10 years of
experience in software development and/or software project
management, preferably in aerospace or defense industries.
Experience with aerospace industry standards such as DO-178C,
MIL-STD-498, or similar. Knowledge of Model-Based Systems
Engineering (MBSE) tools and methodologies. Familiarity with RTX’s
software development frameworks and tools. Demonstrated ability to
manage budgets, schedules, and resource allocation for large-scale
projects. Experience in mentoring and coaching junior engineers.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work
primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance
employees, as they are essential to the development of our
products. This position requires a security clearance. DCSA
Consolidated Adjudication Services (DCSA) , an agency of the
Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security

Are RTX LI-Onsite LI-HS30 As part of our commitment to maintaining

hybrid or remote. The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD -
165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate
representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several
