Job Description:
Lockheed Martin, a leader in defense and aerospace technology,
is looking for an AI Research Engineer to join our innovative
R&D team. This role focuses on the development and integration
of cutting-edge artificial intelligence technologies into our
advanced defense systems. As an AI Research Engineer, you will
collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to design, develop, and
deploy AI solutions that enhance the capabilities and effectiveness
of our products and services. By joining our team, you will
contribute to national security, work on meaningful and ethical
projects, and push the boundaries of AI in defense technology.
Conduct research and development of AI models suitable for complex
defense applications. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to
understand system requirements and implement AI technologies
accordingly. Stay updated with AI trends and advancements and
assess feasibility for integration into defense projects. Prototype
AI solutions, validate their functionality in simulations, and
troubleshoot any issues that arise during development phases.
Document all phases of research and development and provide
detailed reports and presentations to senior management.
Proficiency with machine learning libraries and frameworks such as
TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras. Experience with programming
languages such as Python, C++, or Java. Strong understanding of
deep learning, neural networks, and computer vision. Ability to
handle large datasets and experience with tools like SQL, Hadoop,
or similar. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and
communication skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
