The Apps Dev Sr. Programmer Analyst is a senior level position responsible for establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to lead as well as deliver -applications systems analysis and programming activities, delivering project work to specifications and working with business counterpart to derive solutions. Also involving in application management activities.Job Description - Role is critical for supporting multiple initiatives and tasks related to functions under Collections and Recovery domains - Work with business in shaping and articulating Collections and Recovery strategies/system updates and connecting them to our overall domain technology roadmap - Responsible for creation of high level and detailed -technical specifications - Responsible for end to end design, construction and implementation activities for the team - Ensure successful delivery of projects on schedule and within budget for the team - Oversee technical delivery and providing guidance to the team as needed. - Oversee application management activities ensuring compliance against policies and procedures which may include but not limited to updating system specifics in the Citi System Inventory, oversight over Vulnerability Tests or Disaster Recovery exercises. - When applicable, work closely with Architecture team, third party vendors, and/or Citi Business on reviewing technical/Info Sec topics and ensure compliance.Qualifications - BS or MS or MBA in Computer Science/Information Technology or related fields is preferred, but prior experience considered - 7+ years of experience in business analysis and/or technical delivery of project work required - Excellent oral and written communication skills. - Very good understanding of Mainframe environment (COBOL/JCL/VSAM) and coding practices/standards - Very good understanding of Agile methodology and tools - Understanding of the basics of technical aspects of Information Security and architecture such as System Flow Diagram, Vulenerability Assessment, Continuity of Business, and Multi Factor Authentication would be beneficial - Good understanding of Loss Prevention domains and contact center technologies - Understanding of connective enabling technologies such as API, micro services, CRUD connectors, JSON, etc - Expertise with delivery of projects of different scales as well as large conversions of portfolios is desired - Detail oriented and willingness to continue to learn and growAdditional Job DescriptionBeing resourceful, able to apply newly gained knowledge towards solving problems.
