Fujitsu wants innovators like you!Req ID:[[id]]We are seeking **Software Engineers** to join our Software Development team in our Richardson, TX location. As a contributing member of the team, you will help design, implement and enhance Fujitsu's next generation fiber optical communications products. As a team member, you will be working on one or more phases of SW development from design and implementation to unit testing and system integration.**Responsibilities** :+ Review product requirements, hardware design documents (HUDS, IOmap etc) and work with team to come up with software estimation and execution plan.+ Design, develop software in the blade software area, which include BSP, platform driver, L2SW driver etc.+ Integrate the blade software with upper layer software and hardward.+ Issue investigation, status, and resolution during test phases.+ Accountable for as-planned execution and quality of the software developed+ Follows the FNC software work flow, SW tools, & DevOps+ Support maintenance of the product and blade software+ Technical leadership of blade software team.**Skills & Knowledge:**+ Knowledge and experience with Linux, communication equipment platform layer development.+ Knowledge and experience on L2SW SDK and L2SW driver development (BCM or Marvel)+ Team technical leadership skill.+ Comfortable with multi-site development of Software and hardware+ Good debugging skills and analytical skills required to understand customer issues+ Excellent communication skills+ Good team player**Experience & Education:**+ Minimum of 8 years of software development experience close to hardware.+ Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or relevant technical field+ Good in C/C++, Java, Python and Shell scripts+ Experience in Embedded Linux systems with a strong understanding of multicore and multithreaded applications**Preferred Qualifications:**+ Experience with JIRA/Jenkins/Confluence+ Experience with Embedded linux and Yocto project+ Experience with Marvel L2SW???????At Fujitsu, one of our corporate principles is "We respect human rights."
