Senior Software Engineering Manager, Data and Integration PlatformsService Experts has initiated a set of technology initiatives to transform the way in which we provide heating and air conditioning services to our customers.To make this transformation a reality, the Information Technology department is adding a Senior Software Engineering Manager, Integration and Data Platforms to the team. The Senior Software Engineering Manager, Integration and Data Platforms will manage a team responsbile for the development of enterprise APIs, system integrations, and centralized data platforms This team leader will also facilitate the transition of deployed technology services to production and the technology operations team.Responsibilities:Competencies

  • Manages a team of 4-8 system integration and data development professionals
  • Leads the task definition and estimation for the development of an enterprise API used by business partners to interact with the enterprise
  • Leads the technical design of the interface and payload definitions of enterprise API endpoints
  • Leads the task definition and estimation for the development of middleware integration components between business systems
  • Leads the technical design of the interface, payload, and data transformation definitions of system integrations
  • Leads the task definition and estimation for the development of data movements and data entity types for the enterprise's centralized data platforms
  • Leads the technical design of the data movements and data entity types for the enterprise's centralized data platforms
  • Establishes work activities and performance expectations for team members
  • Develops team members
  • Mentors, guides, and supports the work activities of team members
  • Facilitates the team's work processes and work sessions

      • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent relevant work experience
      • Experience leading the data and integration functions of an organization
      • Experience with Azure Integration Services like Azure API Management, Azure Logic Apps, and Azure Functions
      • Experience with Azure Data Services like Azure SQL DB, Azure Data Factory, Azure Analysis Services, and Power BI
