Aveanna Healthcare, a pioneering national provider of pediatric and adult home care, is seeking a dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team. This role focuses on providing patient-centric care during night shifts, fostering health and well-being in the comfort of patients’ homes. Our LVNs are vital in ensuring efficient medical care and support to patients with various healthcare needs. This position offers a unique opportunity to work closely with patients and their families, upholding the highest standards of nursing care prescribed by the healthcare provider, and aligning care with Aveanna Healthcare’s mission to help patients achieve their potential. Provide direct patient care as prescribed, including but not limited to administering medication, wound care, and monitoring vital signs. Assist in the development and implementation of patient management plans, either individually or as part of a healthcare team. Record patient progress and communicate patient health status to the relevant healthcare professionals. Educate patients and their families on proper home health care strategies and procedures. Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and maintaining professional and technical knowledge through attending educational workshops. Strong clinical skills in a home health setting Proficiency in administering medication and providing various types of patient care Effective communication and interpersonal skills Capability to work independently and manage time effectively Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance Active LVN/LPN license in the state of practice CPR certified Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
