This assignment provides a weekly blended rate of $1,765, based on three 12?hour night shifts. This role is ideal for a PCU RN with strong neuro experience, confident in caring for intermediate?acuity neurological patients requiring continuous monitoring and frequent assessment. License reimbursement Referral program incentives Health insurance Certification reimbursement Weekly pay Key Responsibilities of the Neuro PCU RN Provide specialized care to monitored neuro/step?down patients Perform detailed neuro assessments and respond to changes promptly Interpret telemetry and manage drips within PCU guidelines Administer medications and support complex treatment plans Collaborate with neurologists, intensivists, and interdisciplinary care teams Document all assessments and interventions precisely Support patient and family education regarding recovery and care expectations Maintain safety standards in accordance with PCU/neuro protocols Requirements of the Neuro PCU RN Active Texas RN license or compact eligibility Current BLS and ACLS certifications (NIHSS strongly preferred) Minimum 2 years’ recent PCU experience with neuro focus Why Work in Plano, TX?
