Registered Nurse (RN) | Oncology Location: Dallas, TX Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,144 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/10/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Oncology RN in Dallas, Texas, 75230! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Bone Marrow Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ONS Chemotherapy Certification Must-Have: Oncology experience is required. Chemo certification is required. Ability to administer chemotherapy is required. Excellent assessment skills are necessary. Description: The unit has a total of 40 beds, with 20 beds on each floor. Patient ratios are estimated to be 1:3, with potential stretching to 1:4, depending on staffing ability. The unit staffing consists of a Health Unit Coordinator Monday to Friday, and Patient Care Technicians available during both AM and PM shifts. Bedside monitors and computers are installed on the walls, and lift assist devices are available. The documentation system utilized is Meditech. Weekend rotation is required as part of the schedule. Travelers may float to other areas based on staffing needs. Patient experience requirements include bedside shift report, safety rounds, team management, and a no pass zone. Certifications required are BLS and ACLS. BMT experience is preferred. Ability to read telemetry and monitor simple titration of drips is preferred. Infrequent procedures on the unit include bone marrow biopsies. Dress code requires royal blue scrubs. The department has received five-time accreditation for excellence. The unit performs both autologous and allogeneic transplants, including varying types of donor matches and CAR-T therapies.
