Job Description Join Baylor The Heart Hospital Dallas as a
Registered Nurse in the Cardiac ICU/PCU/Telemetry and be part of
something better! Shift - Rotating schedule, weekends required
Patient Population: Post cardiotomy, cardiology Interventional,
Post Vascular Surgical/Interventional, Advanced heart Failure.
Cardiac PCU/Tele. Nurses on this unit must be comfortable with PCU
& Telemetry patients. Opportunity to “level up” to the ICU if
desired. Required Experience: Candidates MUST have at least 1 year
previous Charge Nurse experience (supervisory experience is a
plus). Shift: FT | 7-7 | Three 12hr shifts per week, 5 weekend
shifts required per 6-week schedule Patient Ratios: 1:4 Tele / PCU

will oversee patient care provided by the healthcare team using a
professional practice model. Your responsibilities include patient
assessment, recognizing health issues, creating care plans, and
assessing patient responses. What You'll Do - You, as an RN, will
conduct detailed clinical assessments, prioritize patient and
family needs, create, implement, and evaluate care plans. Adjust
plans to reach desired outcomes. - Building relationships, managing
discomfort, staying professional are vital in therapeutic
connections with patients and families. - Creating care plans
reflecting values aids in resolving issues. - You will help educate
patients, families, nurses, and community members to empower them
with knowledge for better healthcare choices. Assess and document

create a care plan. Delegate tasks carefully and follow up

communities we serve. QUALIFICATIONS - EDUCATION - Grad of an
Accredited Program - MAJOR - Nursing - EXPERIENCE - 2yr of Tele,
PCU, or ICU RN Experience & 1yr of RN Charge or Supervisor
Experience - CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION - Registered Nurse
(RN) Basic Life Support (BLS): BLS or BLS within 30 days of hire or
transfer.
