Registered Nurse (RN) | Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care Location: Athens, TX Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,632 per week Shift Information: 3 days x 11 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/23/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years preferred License: Active nursing license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, TNCC (preferred) Must-Have: Epic charting system experience required Description: This position requires working in the ICU on a night shift schedule. The patient ratio is 1:2. The unit has 10 rooms and the daily census averages 8 patients. Previous charge experience is preferred. Travel experience is required. Candidates should have experience with managing patients with multisystem organ dysfunction or failure. Skills in interpreting dysrhythmias, managing dysrhythmias, and administering blood products are essential. The role involves care of ventilated patients and management of various IV protocols. Knowledge in performing phlebotomy and managing arterial lines is necessary. Infection prevention and isolation precautions are part of the responsibilities.
