Health to find a qualified PCU RN in Dallas, Texas, 75243! Job
Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: PCU Duration: 13

1 Year License: RN License Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS
Must-Have: Candidates must demonstrate accountability for their
actions. Candidates must have knowledge of cardiac drips such as
Amiodarone, Nitroglycerin, Cardene, and Cardizem. Description: The
unit has 24 beds with a staff of 43, including 1 charge nurse and 8
registered nurses on day and night shifts. The patient-to-nurse
ratio is 1:3. The unit is equipped with Baxter IV pumps, Hillrom
devices, iMobile with Apple technology, and telemetry. The
electronic medical record system used is Meditech. Typical hiring
profile includes great communication skills among patients and the
interdisciplinary team. Preference is given to candidates with 6
months of PCU experience. Typical procedures performed on the unit
include: - Post-surgery care for CABG, AVR/MVR, aortic root
repairs, LVAD. - Immediate post VATS care, post vascular surgeries,
and pre/post cath lab and EP procedures including pacemaker/AICD,
heart catheterizations, PCIs, and TAVR. - Bedside procedures such
as paracentesis, thoracentesis, and PICC insertion. Ideal
candidates will be caring and great team players. Weekends will
