Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Telemetry PCU - Progressive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Job Opportunity – Travel RN Stepdown Progressive Care Unit – North Texas Start Date: January 5, 2026 Location: Plano, Texas Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, 36 guaranteed hours per week, every other weekend, call required Highlights: - 13-week travel assignment in a progressive care telemetry environment - 7th floor PCU unit with stepdown patient population - Meditech documentation system - Floating as needed based on hospital requirements - Every other weekend rotation with call responsibilities - Professional healthcare environment with established protocols Requirements: - Active RN license (temporary licenses will not be accepted) - Minimum 2 years of hospital nursing experience - Minimum 2 years of specialty experience in PCU/Stepdown care - Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications required - Meditech experience strongly preferred - PCU/Stepdown experience highly preferred Why It's a Great Opportunity: This travel assignment offers experienced progressive care nurses the chance to work in a well-established stepdown unit serving a diverse patient population.
