Job Description:
Coordinates and facilitates efforts across multiple systems and
groups, including compliance, legal, risk, and IT security, to
deliver seamless and integrated solutions. Manages infrastructure,
projects, and backlogs. Manages project resources, timelines, and
risks, and product backlog, estimations, capacity planning,
iteration planning, releases, and day-to-day activities using Jira.
Provides business unit-wide solutions and manages the development
of corporate compliance products, according to Agile or Waterfall
methodologies. Primary Responsibilities: Researches and recommends new technologies in support of the
strategic direction of the business unit and participates in the
research and recommendation of appropriate models, methods, tools,
and technologies to achieve business-unit-wide solutions. Oversees the technical implementation of cross-divisional or
company architectural components. Translates and incorporates business visions and strategies into
architectural strategy recommendations at a functional level. Identifies and consults with internal and external technical
resources to produce cross-company strategic designs. Consults on the development and delivery of major technology
initiatives for the business unit. Consults on the deployment of major project deliverables. Consults on the documentation of major technology
application. Initiates and drives project or strategy discussions with users
or external groups to resolve issues. Provides leadership, technical supervision, and expertise to
multiple teams in broad technical areas on complex
organization-wide projects. Works across groups to identify opportunities for
organization-wide technology initiatives. Regularly provides guidance, training, and coaching to other
team members for performance and career development. Determines technical approaches at a strategic level for the
business unit. Education and Experience: Bachelors degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer
Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems,
Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and six (6) years
of experience in the job offered or six (6) years of experience
project managing the development of customized software solutions
along the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Or, alternatively, Masters degree (or foreign education
equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information
Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely
related field and four (4) years of experience in the job offered
or four (4) years of experience project managing the development of
customized software solutions along the Software Development Life
Cycle (SDLC). Skills and Knowledge: Candidate must also possess: Demonstrated Expertise (DE) project managing custom software
development projects for building and maintaining enterprise-wide
Web, mobile, and desktop applications within an information
technology environment, using .NET, Java, and Oracle database; and
defining technology initiatives to align with business strategies,
using Platform as a Service (PAAS), including Pivotal Cloud Foundry
and Click2Compute. DE providing infrastructure maintenance, technology upgrades,
and migrations within Pivotal Cloud Foundry, Apache Tomcat, and
Microsoft Windows Server environments; and performing data
analytics, technical analysis, and systems requirement analysis for
business partners. DE project managing information technology development projects
with multiple stakeholders; and defining deliverable and project
scope for multiple systems according to Agile and Waterfall
methodologies, using Jira and Project and Portfolio Management
Center (PPMC). DE project managing information technology projects including,
resources, budget, schedule, and risk mitigation; and using
Compliance, Legal, Risk and Security (CLRS) tools -- Atlassian
Jira, Catalyst, ServiceNow, and ProSource -- to prepare status
reports, financial reports, and operational metrics and
