Job Description:
GEICO's People Organization is seeking a strategic, results
oriented Director Human Resources Business Partner to
help drive people and business initiatives across our Technical
Teams.
The ideal candidate is someone that is commercially minded,
highly
collaborative and excels in a fast-paced environment. - You will be
on
the front line working closely with business leaders to provide
strategic input and advice on a wide range of topics including,
performance management, employee relations, coaching and
development,
compensation, organizational development, learning, conflict
resolution
and more. This role will help influence the HR practices and
policies to
ensure that they align with the evolving business strategy of
GEICO.
Key Responsibilities:
deep and influential relationships with business leaders,
understanding
their goals and priorities; Bring forward business knowledge as
inputs
to help shape HR strategy and prioritiesDemonstrate strong
business acumen with ability to root-cause issues, match people
strategies to business strategies, and deliver talent programs
that
drive resultsTranslate broad, longer-term vision and objectives
into specific milestones and goalsPartner
with business leaders on various people focused initiatives to
further
organizational development, talent development, career
progression
opportunities and collaboration between
teams/stakeholdersOrganizational
design and development - use data insights to make recommendations
for
improving organizational performance -and changes; partner with
key
clients to ensure that their organizations are structured in a way
that
will enable them to meet or exceed business goalsDrive
coordination and execution efforts to effectively administer
the
performance management process to include - compensation
planning,
calibration sessions, high performer recognition, talent
development
planning, etc.Ensure effective partnership(s) with HR COE's to
provide timely delivery of services and support to client
groupsDesign, manage and/or facilitate initiatives to help drive
team effectiveness and associate engagementFoster
a climate of inclusion where diverse thoughts are freely shared
and
integrated to develop plans and solutions that are best suited to
the
circumstancesContribute to the ongoing improvement of products and
services provided by the HR organizationDemonstrate business and
commercial insight and the ability to translate into a future
oriented outlook on HR prioritiesWork with clients to define talent
management needs to design and implement programs and practices
Basic Qualifications
knowledge of multiple HR disciplines including recruiting,
hiring,
benefits, compliance, talent, compensation, employee retention,
and
engagement.Excellent communication skills and ability to coach,
influence, and partner with various level of
employeesDemonstrated
experience and capability in leadership coaching, complex
facilitation,
conflict resolution, driving change management, organizational
design
and developmentDemonstrated experience working with and
providing consultation to Senior Management on strategic and
tactical HR
related business items
Preferred Qualifications:
years of HR Business Partner experience in roles of
progressively
increasing scope and in matrixed, high-growth organizationsHRCI or
SHRM Certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP)Experience in a
strategic HR role with executive-level interface and a high degree
of executive influenceSignificant depth in Workforce Planning,
Organizational Design and Talent Management
Travel:Must be able to commute regularly to a GEICO regional office
within the US(HYBRID).
Annual Salary$99,000.00 - $207,000.00
The
above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors
are
taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/
annual
salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include,
but are
not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the
selected candidate's work experience, education and training, the
work
location as well as market and business considerations.
