Job Description:
Job Duties: -Vice President -with Goldman Sachs Bank USA in
Richardson, Texas. Adopt a data-driven approach to design and
develop fraud solutions by analyzing big data utilizing advanced
machine learning approaches and statistical techniques to uncover
fraud patterns and performing qualitative expert reviews. Review,
evaluate and drive selection of new vendors and technologies to
enhance fraud strategy and mitigate emerging risks. Execute changes
to fraud strategy. Establish appropriate analytical environment and
measurement systems. Work directly with the Customer Operations
leadership team responsible for execution of the agent fraud
strategy. Research and remain current on the latest industry trends
and recommend tools, services, and practices for improvement.
Identify and develop process improvements and automation to
maximize efficiency. Manage team members with training and
development. Implement implementation of changes to the fraud
strategy in accordance with governance processes establishes
encompassing senior leadership approvals, compliance reviews, and
comprehensive testing.
Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in
Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related analytical
engineering field such as Biochemical Engineering and
Biotechnology. Ten (10) years of experience in the job offered or
in a related role. Ten (10) years of prior experience with:
utilizing R, Python, or similar language, and working in a big data
distributed environment including Hive, PySpark, and Databricks;
working with quantitative data science and analytics, with hands-on
experience with industry standard packages including Python, SQL in
a big data environment including Hive and PySpark; utilizing
machine learning and artificial intelligence methods to uncover
patterns in sparse events data; working with industry standard
methodologies, including boosting, bagging, regression analysis and
optimization objectives; performing process optimization utilizing
break-even analysis with clearly stated business objectives,
assumptions, and estimates; driving new initiatives, collaborating
across multiple functions to achieve enhanced fraud controls for
both existing and new business lines; leading projects while
coordinating with a multitude of stakeholders, to deliver business
critical capabilities, strategies, on-time, while informing
tradeoffs as the business priorities and deliverables change; and
leading and managing a team of junior level employees. -Travel is
