Sr Director GM Healthcare Sensing & Safety Technologies holds
overall
profit-and-loss responsibility for the $225M/year Healthcare
Sensing and
Solutions business within the Sensing & Safety Technologies
group.-- The Sr Director GM for Healthcare will drive
breakthrough
strategies to take the business beyond its current trajectory and
will inject
growth to more than double the size of the business over the next 3
years.-- The focus will be on accelerated growth by leveraging
innovation and brand-new markets/applications and through
streamlining of the
core business. The
Sr Director GM will develop and implement business strategies to
optimize and
grow the business at or greater than market rates by making the
most of product
technology,--new product development, innovation, voice of
customer,
manufacturing assets and engineering capabilities. This role owns
overall
performance, growth, profitability, and--customer satisfaction--for
three
main business lines:
- The Healthcare Sensing including, Patient Monitoring and
Diagnostics, Respiratory and Healthy Air and Drug Delivery.
- Healthcare Solutions including our Intelligent Life Care
business
- Breakthrough Technology and New Product Initiatives for several
products, including, Blood Cytology and Liquid FlowThis
key executive role will report to the President of the $1.2B year
Sensing &
Safety Technologies (SST) business and will be a member of the SST
Leadership
Team located in Richardson, Texas.-- This
role will have a team of 6-8 direct reports with a larger team of
900 direct
and indirect team members responsible to drive strategy,
deployment, daily
execution, and cross-functional collaboration.-- This
growth-oriented role will have significant customer-facing
engagement in
leading and managing several key high-profile programs with regular
updates to SPS
and Honeywell senior leadership. --KEY RESPONSIBILITIESThe
Sr Director GM for Healthcare will own the business and performance
across the
entire product life cycle, including marketing, product management,
research
& development, operations, business development & sales, and
regulatory
& compliance all within a technical environment.-- They will have a
solid understanding of their
market position, competition and trends to enter into new markets
to
successfully achieve superior financial results as compared to
peers in the
industry.
- Develop new product strategies, roadmaps, go-to-market
strategies and product improvements across business lines aligned
with the overall healthcare strategy
- Drive breakthrough initiatives and new product introductions
across business lines using structured--strategy deployment that
provides for commercialization and quick execution
- Deliver on revenue growth, margin expansion, cost control and
aggressive time-to-market commitments toward achievement of the
Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and program commitments
- Drives--strategy execution--that includes product cost and
pricing optimization, customer & market segmentations, channel
management, RDE
investments, accelerating product life-cycle improvements and
developing
differentiated value propositions
- Use Z21 methodologies to create and evaluate business cases for
launch. Convert Voice-of-Customer and differentiated technologies
to market-back requirements and industry-leading system
solutions.
- Build out business development expertise and the global sales
functions aligned to deliver on growth targets
- Expand the regulatory and compliance process across the
business lines to support Federal Drug Administration requirements
and new go-to-market strategies
- Develops and executes creative sourcing and--supply chain
strategies--to support New Product Introduction, as well as
legacy/late cycle product cost, inventory, and on-time
delivery.
- Coordinates with ISC/Sourcing in support of--supplier
negotiations--and performance management for delivery, quality,
cost, inventory, and reliability, including supporting structured
transition management.
- Successfully leads the--management--operating systems to
milestones, metrics and--risk mitigation--with--customer
engagement--and--disciplined--scope management
- Establishes and nurtures effective executive business
relationships with key customers and suppliers/partners
- Supports AST President and team in leading the strategy and
annual operating plans for the businessYOU
HAVE
- An undergraduate degree in business, engineering or another
technical domain.
- Master of Business Administration preferred.-- Blackbelt, Lean
or PMP certifications preferred
- 10+ years--leadership,--strategy deployment,
operations,--business management, sales or--program
management--experience
- Significant experience with a large, global healthcare
organization
- Healthcare experience within a start-up organization / start-up
business within a large organization
- Demonstrated experience leading healthcare products from design
through to executionWE VALUE
