The Insured Claims Manger is responsible for managing all aspects of insured litigation matters, including automotive, general liability, personal injury, and property damage claims and lawsuits. The Insured Claims Manager will work with outside counsel, third-party claims administrator, the company's insurance broker, and excess carriers. The position will report to the in-house litigation counsel.WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:The Insured Claims Manager guides and directs the investigation, evaluation, and disposition of claims and suits brought against Lennox International Inc. and its subsidiary companies. The Insured Claims Manager reports to the in-house litigation counsel but, day to day, functions with autonomy to conduct meetings with the company's outside counsel, third-party claims administrator, and business people, monitor cases, extend reserve and settlement authority, and prepare case summary reports for review with management. The Insured Claims Manager also attends mediations, settlement conferences, court hearings, and trials.Continuously exhibit and uphold Core Values of Integrity, Respect, and ExcellenceSupervises claim files handled by third-party claims administratorCoordinate with outside counselActs as the liaison between outside counsel, in-house counsel and the company's businesspeopleMaintains a high level of communication with leadershipWorks within reserve and authority limits and makes recommendations if higher reserves or authority is neededRecognized as the company insured claims expertQualifications:WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.Requires at least 5 years related experience.Three to five years of litigated claims handling experience preferredExperience in working with complex coverage issues requiredMulti-jurisdictional claims and litigation experience requiredAdjuster license and/or certifications preferredWHAT WE OFFER:At Lennox, we realize that our greatest assets are our employees.
