Data and Intake Governance (DIG) team, the Senior Project Manager
II (Sr. PM) staff member will play a critical role to establish
OptumInsight Intake Governance for the Optum Data Enablement (ODE)
team for any new data and project requests. This role will
administer all Data Intake aspects for new requests that come to
ODE to be solutioned, designed, help determine capacity/resources
and managed. The Sr. PM will help triage, prioritize, collaborate,
coordinate and work across multiple departments and teams, to
ensure the success of teams working on initiatives, along with
driving to timelines and deliverables to key initiatives. This is a
challenging role that relies on your ability to effectively lead
project teams and build relationships with stakeholders. Your
ability to use various methodologies and tools to collaborate in a
cross-matrix environment will drive long term success keeping the
team on track within the project scope and timeline. This is a
great opportunity for an experienced Senior Project Manager to
stand up this new intake process and play an integral role in
shaping and evolving it for the teams. You'll enjoy the flexibility

Primary Responsibilities: Lead a centralized intake governance
process to work across multiple teams to determine completeness of
request information, solution, approaches, capacity and timelines
Leverage intake tools such as Aha to ingest and manage the requests
coming in, along with assign out to the teams who are part of the
initiatives Leverage project management software such as Clarizen,
MS Project, or Planview to manage end-to-end project life cycles
and portfolio level reporting, as well as tracking and
communicating on deliverables and timelines to both external and
internal clients Provides subject matter expertise in areas
including project scope definition, risk identification, project
methodology, resource allocation, facilitation, and other areas of
expertise based on established techniques Work closely with the
functional teams to align, communicate, manage and effectively
drive projects to completion May perform complex analysis, provides
recommendations on approaches, and help solve complex problems to
help develop innovative solutions Be able to provide appropriate
levels of communication in various forums for the various audiences
Help mentor, train and lead other PMs and Data analysts on the team
on project management, data analysis and documentation as needed

Qualifications: 7 years of equivalent Project Management work
experience 7 years of hands-on experience as a Business or Data
Analyst or equivalent, with experience working with various types
of healthcare data, formats or coding standards 7 years of prior
experience project managing cross-departmental projects and
evidence of ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
7 years of experience with Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Word and
Outlook 5 years of experience with Agile/Waterfall methodologies 1
years of experience with project management software (Clarizen, MS
Project, Planview etc.) 1 years of experience producing and/or
maintaining business and/or data requirements Preferred
Qualifications: Experience with or an interest in learning to work
with complex health care databases Proven highly analytical,
curious, and creative Proven solid organization skills, very detail
oriented, with careful attention to work processes Demonstrated
ability to cross collaborate across multiple teams and stakeholders
Demonstrated ability to take ownership of responsibilities and
follows through on hand-offs to other groups Demonstrated ability
to enjoys a fast-paced environment and the opportunity to quickly
learn new skills Proven ability to communicate effectively in both
oral and written forms, and to document data findings Proven
ability to work creatively and flexibly, both independently and as

The salary range for California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New
York City, or Washington residents is $101,200 to $184,000. Pay is
based on several factors including but not limited to education,
work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary,
