The firm's Consumer business, Marcus by Goldman Sachs, combines the entrepreneurial spirit of a startup with more than 150 years of experience. Marcus Invest is part of our Consumer Wealth Management Division (CWM). Marcus Invest is a customer portal for investment financial services. At Marcus, we leverage cutting edge technology and a simple user experience, we deliver low-cost, transparent savings, investing, and debt retirement solutions.

HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL:

You are passionate about operations, leadership, and using digital tools to provide solutions and excellent customer service to consumers. You are an experienced leader, who will lead our consumer call handling team, coach and develop teams, while providing feedback and influencing new processes both directly and indirectly.

Key Responsibilities:

* Responsible for setting team level strategic action plans, by developing vision, setting high standards and executing to ideas
* Oversee a high performing operations team to achieve business goals in customer service and maintain employee satisfaction by providing leadership, communication, coaching and professional development to direct reports and their teams.
* Ensure timely, quality resolution of customer/client inquiries.
* Responsible for hiring of staff and developing key business tactics and plans to ensure departmental service levels and customer satisfaction levels are achieved.
* Proactively resolve potential issues, with escalation as appropriate.
* Creates and maintains an environment with intense focus on customer satisfaction and professional customer support balanced with consistent achievement of standard business objectives.
* Work closely with cross functional partners to ensure collaboration and process efficiencies are maintained.
* Drives improvements in business processes and ensures optimal resource utilization and audit compliant administrative process and strategy.
* Management/Process owner driving initiatives, recommend improvements in business processes and ensure optimal resource utilization and audit compliant administrative process and strategy.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Basic Qualifications:

* Minimum of 3 years of customer service and/or sales experience (or equivalent military experience).
* Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience and managing other leaders
* Must be self-directed, detail oriented, positive attitude, driven, able to work independently in a team-oriented and fast paced environment
* Strong understanding of customer service experience with knowledge trade flows, operational functions and controls
* Previous experience working with investment products

* Have SIE, Series 7 and Series 63 licenses
* Bachelor's degree in business, finance, communications or other related field
* Knowledge associated with the Securities industry and broker-dealer operations desired

Preferred Qualifications:

* Have Series 9 and 10 or Series 24
* Client Relationship Management (CRM) experience preferable
