MARKETING DIRECTOR JOB DESCRIPTION At Sprinkled With Pink, we create trendy customizable products that create epic instagrammable moments. With over 120K+ products made and in the top 0.01% of Etsy stores worldwide, we strive for a work environment committed to excellence and producing high-quality custom products that are affordable. Come join our team! -We are on the hunt for a motivated self-driven individual who will lead our company's marketing efforts. The marketing role will work closely alongside our CEO and other department heads to accelerate our growth through digital marketing. This person has been in the industry for 5+ years, knows what drives high conversions with email campaigns/social/paid ads etc. and thrives on creating new strategies and testing them to continually improve. They are an excellent copy-writer and have a keen eye for visual content/designs.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure brand story and messaging is conveyed clearly and delivered properly in all mediums. -
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies, marketing plan and calendar with innovative marketing campaigns.
  • Uphold KPIs for every pillar of marketing plan, campaigns and go-to-market strategies.
    EMAIL MARKETING AND SMS:
    • Strategy and copy for weekly email marketing campaigns (3/week) & SMS (less frequent)
    • Utilize insights to continually improve conversions via flows and campaigns, striving for 25%+ revenue generated via email
    • Utilize segmentation based on behaviors like past email engagement and website interactions to personalize customer experience
      SOCIAL MEDIA:
      • Instagram: Utilize platform to build brand awareness, email lead gen and consistent revenue
      • Community engagement with complementary brands and potential customers -
      • Identify complementary brand partnerships to leverage their audience -
      • Social influencer program management
      • Strategic campaigns for Instagram Reels and Tik Tok to meet conversion goals (we have an in-house content creator to execute)
        PINTEREST:
        • Utilize platform and Tailwind to post consistently for organic traffic / revenue -
        • Create and execute Pinterest Ads
        • Create SWP reward program to increase customer retention and average order value and encourage referrals, reviews and user generated content.
        • Collaborate with graphic designer to design marketing materials for print, website, email campaigns, etc. -
          SEO/ADS:
          • Manage SEO agency for backlinking
          • Identify strategic posts to be executed by marketing team with SEO optimization to drive traffic via content writing.
          • Google Ads - create and execute
            MISC:
            • Set photoshoot strategy and vision for the content team to execute.
            • Execute and attend pop-up shops and other interactive events.

              IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL BE:
              • Self-starter; for example, you see an issue in our platform and you find the best way to fix it quickly
              • Excellent written communication skills - being able to embody our brand voice in a compelling but succinct tone
              • Organization obsessed helping to keep timelines, schedules and processes
              • Coachable and resourceful
              • Trustworthy, transparency and direct communication with the CEO and the rest of the team is important
              • Have a "yes" attitude and be willing to learn new things!
              • Excellent leadership skills - being able to delegate projects and ensure key players are meeting deadlines for marketing initiatives
              • Have analytical skills to identify key insights for improvement and creative thinking to develop innovative ideas and eye for design to create compelling and clear content.
                REQUIREMENTS
                • 5+ years in marketing industry (ideally 8+)
                • Bachelor's degree in communications, advertising, marketing, journalism, or related degree.
                • Thorough knowledge of all media channels including Instagram, Tik Tok and Pinterest
                • Extensive knowledge with email campaigns strategy and execusion- experience with Klayviyo a plus
                • Experience with web analytics (e.g. Google Analytics) and Google Adwords a plus
                • High attention to detail and accuracy
                • Solutions oriented mindset
                • Strong written and verbal communication skills required
                • Ability to work independently and the willingness to function as a part of a team
                • Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and complete assignments with tight deadlines.
                • Must be at least 18 years of age
                • Must have authorization to work in the United States
