The Chief Administrative Office reports directly to the Head of Wholesale Credit Risk and has responsibility for coordinating across all the ICG Risk teams to ensure for efficient management of multi-disciplinary processes. This includes budget management, staffing plans and resource allocation, coordination of regulatory responses, active participation in all the key implementation initiatives affecting wholesale credit, project management oversight, issue management and other critical controls for the independent risk management of Citi's ICG products and clients globally. CAO partners with 1st, 2nd and 3rd line units to leverage opportunities to improve processes and tools. The organization will continue to build a strong governance culture for ICG Risk and interface with regulators to ensure continuity, consistency, and clarity in our interactions.Business Risk - Business Manager for Risk and Controls will work within the ICG Risk Business Management Team to assist key activities in the ICG Risk organization on MCA process, issue monitoring and resolution, exam management as well as supporting ICG Risk in regulatory initiatives such as RIM and data quality projects. It will be part of the Business Management Risk and Controls Team. This position will support ICG Risk to operate in a controlled manner within the policies, procedures, and guidelines established in conjunction with WHC Policy owners, Global Risk Controls and Issue Management team as well as other control functions to enhance control standards and support business management in their oversight. The main goal of the position will be to ensure effective monitoring for the controls framework for the ICG Risk organization as well as be responsible for reporting. The role integrates knowledge of credit, operational and compliance risks with understanding of industry standards and regulatory requirements for ICG Risk.Responsibilities:

  • Support tracking, reporting, escalation and remediation of outstanding issues and CAPs owned by ICG Risk
  • Partner with in-business risk and control leads to co-ordinate key regulatory priorities and control enhancements across the ICG RISK AUs
  • Support ICG Risk in identification of issues and formulating corrective action plans
  • Liaise with line control officers on any deficiencies or control gaps as well as ensure appropriate remedial actions are in place where deficiencies are identified.
  • Responsible for reporting of control issues in ICG Risk to identify trends, themes and areas requiring improved controls
  • Coordinate communication and escalation to ICG Risk leadership team and AU owners to ensure their awareness on any issue or change in the control environment affecting their areas of responsibilities
  • Be involved in the ICG Risk Manager's Control Assessment monitoring, support documenting and monitoring of Corrective Action Plans (CAP) for management of control issues
  • Assist to ICG Risk teams during the resolution process of CAPs
  • Support ICG Risk teams during internal control reviews, internal audits (IA) and regulatory reviewsQualifications:
    • 6+ Credit Risk, Compliance, Operational Risk or related experience
    • Understanding of Internal Control, Audit and Operational Risk requirements
    • Experience in Management Control Assessment process
    • Ability to identify enhancement opportunities and more granular insights that can be acted upon
    • Ability to build presentations to effectively communicate technical information to a wide audience
    • Ability to multi-task, work against tight deadlines, and make decisions independently with minimal guidance from managementThis job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
