training on-site full time is required. Hybrid flex policy is
available thereafter. Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:
Conduct Liability Evaluations: Review building codes, compliance
with ADA regulations, and conformity with industry standards
concerning allegations from accidents that occur on commercial and
residential properties Investigate Incidents: Determine the cause,
origin, and extent of slip-and-fall and trip-and-fall incidents
Conduct Field Investigations: Engage in investigations and
consultations related to potentially defective construction and/or
design issues, involving structural components, roof systems, and
building envelopes /fenestration components Provide Unbiased
Investigations: Provide impartial analyses and investigations for a
diverse range of clients Cultivate Relationships: Build and
maintain strong relationships with clients Report Preparation:
Craft clear, detailed oral and written reports in layman's terms,
documenting causes of failure, the extent of loss, and recommended
remediation Engage in Presentations: Deliver informative and
professional presentations, effectively promoting your expertise
and our services to client groups Provide Expert Testimony: Support
your conclusions with appropriate expert testimony in legal
proceedings Continuous Development: Stay at the forefront of the
industry by attending educational workshops, reading professional
publications, networking, and getting involved in professional
societies Embrace Feedback: Be open to integrating constructive
feedback to fuel your growth professionally Commitment to Presence:
Maintain a reliable and regular presence in the workplace Position
Requirements: Educational Background: Bachelor's degree or higher
in Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or Architecture
Regulatory Knowledge: Working knowledge with ADA, OSHA, and/or
International Building Code compliance standards and guidelines.
Professional Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of relevant
post-academic work experience Licensure: Professional Engineer
(P.E.) or Architect (AIA) license. Communication Skills:
Exceptional writing and interpersonal communication skills are
essential; public speaking experience is a plus. Willingness to
Learn: An eagerness to learn about the industry and obtain
necessary certifications Physical Requirements: Travel Ability:
Willingness to travel approximately 25% of the time (primarily
local driving) Physical Capability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

to climb ladders, inspect roofs, and maneuver in tight spaces
Driving & Flying: Must be able to drive to various site locations
and, when necessary, fly to other locations Effective
Communication: Strong ability to communicate effectively, both
verbally and in writing Visual Acuity: Capable of visually
inspecting job sites and relevant artifacts Safety: Ability to wear
