are seeking a talented Guidance, Navigation & Tracking Engineer to
support the continued enhancement of the Patriot Advanced
Capability-3 (PAC-3) interceptor missile. The PAC-3 family of
missiles are the only combat proven Hit-to-Kill interceptors that
defend against incoming threats, including tactical ballistic
missiles, cruise missiles and aircraft through direct body-to-body
contact delivering exponentially more kinetic energy on the target
than can be achieved with blast-fragmentation kill mechanisms. This
role will require onsite support full-time at Lockheed Martin's
Missiles and Fire Control headquarters in Grand Prairie, TX working
a 4/10 Flex schedule.Typical duties include:--- Support 6-Degree of
Freedom (6-DOF) Integrated Flight Simulation (IFS) refinement and
contribute to Hardware In-the-Loop (HWIL) definition and analysis
of integrated solution.--- Work with a subcontractor to define the
radar performance requirements, provide support to sensor and
algorithm design, and analyze performance data to verify the
solution.--- Participate in flight test prediction and data
performance analysis for multiple flights.Relocation: Relocation
assistance is possible for this exciting position. The Locale:

GNCBasic Qualifications:--- Bachelors degree from an accredited
college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined
education, with 9 years of professional experience--- Must
currently posses a Secret security clearance.Experience with the
following:--- C++.--- Linux OS.--- MATLAB.--- Algorithm development
and signal processing.--- Inertial Target Tracking algorithms.---
Willingness to work onsite in a classified lab environment.---
Ability to occasionally travel for up to two weeks at a time to
White Sands Missile range, New Mexico to support flight tests and
travel frequently to supplier facility in Huntsville,
Alabama.Desired Skills:--- Bachelors degree from an accredited
college in a related discipline, with 9 years of professional
experience--- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and
ability to work in a collaborative environment.Experience or
familiarity with following:--- Linear algebra.--- Probability and
statistics.--- State dynamic equations.--- Kalman filter
applications.--- Kinematics.--- Rotating coordinate systems.---
Fortran and Ada so that a hybrid integration of Fortran, Ada and
C++ can be supported.--- Terminal guidance and seeker
experience.--- Patriot Advanced Capability-3 (PAC-3)/IAMD
modeling.--- Radar signal processing and radio frequency (RF)
systems performance modeling.--- Developing/analyzing RF systems
(radar related systems and subsystems) to include design,
