Responsibilities

• Design and integrate software and hardware solutions to support RF characterization from DC to mm-wave frequencies
• Contribute to define the test engineering roadmap in relation to test solutions development
• Troubleshoot complex test systems
• Implement and verify new test methods
• Ability to support test station setup, troubleshooting, maintenance and calibration
• Lead and/or participate in cross-functional teams to support engineering test projects
• Issue controlled documentation
• Create test plans, procedures, and reports
• Support design validation testing of various RF functions
  Qualifications
  
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in RF component testing required
  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree (or greater) in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering with 7+ years of industry experience
  • Proficient with test equipment including PXI systems, RF sources, pulse generators, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, vector network analyzers, noise figure analyzers, power meters, power supplies, and digital multi-meters
  • Proficient in automated test including design, development, and maintenance
  • Knowledgeable in RF Test. Testing includes s-parameters, noise figure, power, pulsed power, high power RF, TOI, harmonics, ACP, Video Bandwidth (VBW), digital pre-distortion (DPD), modulation testing (AM/AM, AM/PM, PAM, etc), and different modulation schemes (LTE/TDD, WCDMA, QAM, etc)
  • Knowledgeable in TCP/IP, GPIB, IEEE 488.2, I2C, serial communications
  • In depth knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal skills
  • Operate independently with minimal supervision
  • US citizen or Permanent Resident
