Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to support K-12 students at multiple school sites in Lewisville, TX. These contract positions are ideal for professionals passionate about improving communication skills in a dynamic school environment. Immediate openings are available to cover maternity leave and support ongoing student needs. Locations and Caseload Details: - Old Settlers Elementary / Southridge Elementary (K-5): Approximately 48 students combined, with a start date to cover maternity leave through March 31. - Durham Middle School (Grades 6-8): Approximately 65 students, contract through May 22. - Hebron High School / Hebron 9 (Grades 9-12): Approximately 85 students, contract through May 22. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver speech-language pathology services to students ranging from kindergarten to 12th grade. - Collaborate with school staff and parents to create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs). - Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines. - Provide supportive and effective communication interventions tailored to each students needs. Qualifications and Experience: - Must hold an active state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist. - Preferred credentials include SLP-CCC certification; candidates in Clinical Fellowship (CF) status must have supervision arranged prior to starting, as the district does not provide supervision. - Experience working in school settings with K-12 populations is highly valued. - Ability to work onsite at assigned schools is mandatory. Working Hours and Conditions: - Full-time, 40 hours per week. Part-time candidates may also be considered. - Onsite presence required at school locations within Lewisville.
