Job Summary: Signature Consultants is seeking a Senior Accountant for an opportunity with a client located in Richardson, TX. Job Responsibilities:Various duties related to the monthly closing processReconciling general ledger accounts, including bank reconciliations(15-20 different accounts)Work closely with Accounting Manager on Sales and Use tax compliance and audits (multiple states)Monthly preparation of Work In Process reports (Proof of Coverage)Review and validate monthly financial reportsPrepare analytical reports of SG&A expensesPreparation of Sales Incentive reportsRequest/verify/upload Contract Job set-up information including Tax FormsRespond to internal and external documentation requestsManage document control internal projects/assignments that support continuous improvement efforts and department/company goalsOrganize and keep all work areas cleanPerform other duties as assignedQualifications:College degree requiredExcellent organizational skillsAttention to detail - a mustExcellent computer skills including Excel / WordGreat Plains Accounting software experience a plusAble to work as a team member with excellent interpersonal skillsAbility to manage time and resources to ensure work is completed efficiently and within established timeframesStrong analytical as well as verbal and written communication skillsMust be detail oriented.
